How do I add a signature to my post?

Postby c5martin » Sun Jun 01, 2008 8:29 am

How do I add a signature to my post?
To add a signature to a post you must first create one; this is done via your profile. Once created you can check the Add Signature box on the posting form to add your signature. You can also add a signature by default to all your posts by checking the appropriate radio box in your profile. You can still prevent a signature being added to individual posts by un-checking the add signature box on the posting form.

I can’t find where to put a signature. :P
Has someone stolen the box?
Perhaps I’m having a senior moment .
Need Help :!:

Hi if you click on >PROFILE at the top of the page just under Battery Vehicle Society Forum that should take you to it

Can I ask that you just use the signature for a signature, slogan, saying or whatever and not a web address. If you want to put a weblink then use the www button for that which is in the Webiste box

If you can't find the link to do this, this should take you there

Same problem here. The signature box is missing. It is normally after 'interests' in the profile information. Someone seems to have stolen it. ?A phpBB update or somthing?

Hmmm are you two saying that when you go to that link takes you to a page where there is no option to fill in a Signature ?

It should be here

and that's all in the profile section. Not a browser problem - I've tried IE as well as Firefox.

Real simple this one.

You need to make a few more posts and then magically it will all appear

Its all part of the spam management, something we dont suffer to much from due to the fact we limit what folks can do before they can have all the goodies

You need to make something like 10 posts and then everything springs into action 8)

Just keep posting

I will keep posting. :)
You must have made changes to the Forum :?:
I had a signature set up wanted to make changes to it.
I tried switching it off and on then it had gone altogether.
I look forward to its return. :D

Thank you for all your help.

Yes we had to install some anti spam measures when we moved to the BVS server and it did mean that some not so regular posters took a hit when the anti spam was installed.

You only need 10 posts to get it all back though, I've checked
