Battery Vehicle Society

Just wanted to say that I have passed the 10,000 mile mark in my Citroen C1 Ev'ie.

The warm weather has revived the battery pack and I am back to over a 60 mile range again - not that I ever need to use it all in one go. Looking forward to the next 10,000 miles.

My little car has been out and about a lot this week. Did a 36 mile trip in the car yesterday - the biggest single drive to date. Coming back in the evening with the heater running the last few miles started to see the battery voltage sag a bit more when we pressed it hard but the car did well. We set of with a 95% charge and came back with 32% left so 63% used up. Not bad considering the first 12 or so miles we up the motorway.

Rolled over the 11000 mark now. In this nice bright weather it is a big harder to see the battery display in the car so I have fitted a nice bright red votlage meter in the car so I can see the battery voltage at a glance - and I can leave the main display showing the battery amp draw.

Does any one know anyone who can program Curtis controllers at all. I would like to get the firmware in mine upgraded so that the controller can see the regen current as negative and count the %soc upwards rather than downwards as it is now?

Hi I have the curtis software and conection device, but I dont think it allows Firmware upgrades. It can access the controller and change the various parameters. I will have a look later on and see if there is any way of Firmware updates. Which controller does yours have? I think it may be the same as one I am talking to at the moment, so I could readily check out the parameters that could be altered.
Im based in South Suffolk, so I guess not too close to you.

I believe that it is the 1268r AC controller. It has got a plug on the top of the controller that has lots of pins - 35+. I did have a programmer but it only had a 4 pin molex connector on it.

Thats how these are genarally connected . The molex is from the 35 and is normally a separate flying lead. Often just clipped to the loom. If you look at the manual it gives you the pins which to connect to.
