Hi guys

Can anyone tell me where I can get cheap Sealed Lead Acids Batteries from?
12v, anything from 17Ah to 30Ah would be great.

All of mine are knackered, and teh kids want to drive Chitty Chitty bang Bnag again. :lol:

How about your local car breakers. A couple of starting batteries probably won't last long, but I bet it would get you through the summer, especially a British summer :lol: and the price is bound to be right.

I used to get my batteries from the local recycling tip - but a few years ago they stopped selling them to the public. Perhaps try ebay? or contact a local alarm company - they may have some used ones available.

Try your local golf course, quite often golfers will off load their old trolly batteries once they wont do a full round, still plenty of "play" life left in them though.

Same goes for mobility scooter shops :wink:
