Agreed. As longs as folk are aware then that's OK. I'm sure that if I ever buy an Enfield that the outcome of a crash would be similar or worse.
I'd still expect a modern vehile to be a little bit better though.

The new G-Wiz - the G-Wiz i - has got a new front crash safety cell, built in conjunction with Lotus.
This has been independently crash tested at 25mph with significantly improved results compared to the old G-Wiz.
It is a shame they didn't try crashing it at 35mph though - whilst I accept that the G-Wiz is a slower vehicle than most others on the road, the new version of the car will top 50mph and will end up being used on faster roads. Crashing the car safely at 35mph would have silenced all the critics, and I'm not sure a 25mph crash test is going to achieve that.
