Hi Chris - I hope to arrive at Havant station Mid Morning.

If we could organise others who are coming by train then perhaps we could all be picked up at the same time.

PM me your phone number if you dont want it advertised on the forum.

Hi Chris, I'm not yet a member but will join when I get there, probably Sunday lunch time and will make my own way there as I am still using a fuming machine. Thanks for having the event, Nigel Smith.

A big thanks Chris for arranging the Day. It was good to look in the Blingo you have dismantled, and review some of the old CF stuff too.

Well done.

thanks

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the warm welcome you gave us this weekend and the time and effort you put into to making it a successful event.

Thanks again and it was good to catch up with you again.
It was also good to meet the greenmachine and timpootle for the first time.

I certainly came away with some useful things:-

a) Proving that doing a levelling charge the night before (with cardboard in front of the battery part of the radiator) gave the best capacity and warm batteries and the ability to do 60 miles at average of 45 mph, even over the south downs.

b) My 12v battery needs replacing.

c) How to replace oil in transmission and

Regards,
Rob

Thanks guys

Wow what a weekend hope it was sort of useful, I'm totally whacked out, and it didnt help at the end of today I managed to delete 75% of JC's pictures off his laptop from the greenpower event he attended during the earlier part of the day   dam Gates and his rubbishy windoze XP trashy software  and it was only by downloading some freebie undelete software we managed to drag back the 25% of what was left on the Harddrive

Many thanks to all that came, big thank you to Rob who took us out for a meal on Saturday night, that was very kind of you 8) and for his help early on Saturday with setting the marquee up.

I'll never remember all who came but we had about 7 of us on Saturday and then 8 of us during today drifting in and out.
Saturday the weather was a scorcher, with it looking like Rob getting a tadge frazzled, where as today was spattered with some real heavy down pours of rain  but we did manage to inspect the inside of my spare controller by stripping part of it down today under the marquee.

Early bed tonight I think ready to take Tim to the station tomorrow morning

Once again thanks everyone who came and I hope we managed to cover a few things that folk wanted to chat about.

Hi Chris

Many thanks for your hospitality & organising an interesting day yesterday & particularly for lifts to & from the station.

Hopefully I'll find time soon to have a delve inside my controller!

Also please thank Susan for lunch.

Best regards

Julian

What they said. Well done Chris and Mrs B. A great weekend, and good to put faces to names. We should get a full list of who was there, though, and some pictures. Someone had a camera, didn't they?
