Battery Vehicle Society

I see the Ex Sheffield Uni Berlingo(s) are coming upforsale. Anyone know any of the history of them. I didnt think they were V5 registered and they used them for experiments and around the campus.

There were some at Southampton too , which ended in a scrapyard on the south coast but you were not allowed to buy the whole vehicles for some reason and wondered if that applied to the Sheffield ones too.

This Berlingo listed was bought by a guy from.. Poland ! And it was not me this time
For me too expensive (£3950 + VAT ?).....

and Blingos from Gosport Scrapyard were bought by me about year ago. They allowed me to take whole vehicles.
