They dont mind being stored, but dont leave them in the sunlight and heat, if they are out of the van, if in the van, then not a big issue. Only problem is if they are so depleted (Under 100v) as the charger may not come on line. Definitely wont if its down below 70v.

No reply from Evan, and I dont have enough spares to part with that are fully operational. I can probably cobble one to gether from my parts but thats my only option for a spare so at the moment I dont have a solution. I do intend this week to do a comparison of a working and non working charger to see if I can find the failed components.
But that wont be until Wed or Friday.

Fair enough, if I had a spare one I'd hang on to it !
Yes be interesting to figure out how to fix or refurb . as this seems to be a problem most owners will at sometime come across.

I guess so, vehicle drives/drove fine, just not charging as described above.
I was under the impression you had to take the whole unit out ?
I've not yet removed it.
