went out to it 3 hours after I parked it and the Radiator is still on is this normall?
still a lot to learn!
Radiator does not switch off
Re: Radiator does not switch off
If the 12v aux battery is poor it may be that the controller is stepping in to top it up and then it needs cooling. Or its the temp sensor in the top battery thats failed. Un plug the sensor and see if that shuts it off. Look through previous posts on this and other subjects. what it is and where it is hs been covered before. I do refurbish these on an exchange basis, but i must have yours first. I still have not received back one I did for someone else,so Im afraid I cant let you have one just to swap in.

Re: Radiator does not switch off
Only reason whay all the 12v stuff will go dead is that the 12v battery isnt up to its job.
Check what the voltage is.
Remember if you intend to disconnect or remove the 12 v, pull out one of the traction fuses first. Disconnect the 12v, then put 12v back first, then replace the traction fuse. If you dont do this sequence the Computer will not function properly.

Re: Radiator does not switch off
Like any vehicle. Keep checking it with a volt meter.
Put the meter on the battery, turn on the headlights if it drops to below 12v then you probably have a duff dc to dc convertor in your controller.
Where did you get the van from. PM me if you dont wish to broadcast it.
