DIY but ONLY with a EVlite controller from EVan

Or Dealer but do make sure they REALLY know what they are doing.

You really need to get this sorted out pretty soon.

DO NOT TRY TO TOP UP THE BATTERIES WITHOUT DOING EITHER OF THE ABOVE.

Where abouts in the UK are you ?

The official interval, I believe is 800hrs overcharge. My experience of 4 berlingos serviced by main dealers using the light as guidance has resulted in Damaged batteries (blown up literally) I have found that I am getting about 500 hrs over charge on around 2000 miles. Thats when I do my maint charge and top up. It seems to take about 10ltrs of water each time. So if you do around that figure regularly then its worth getting an Evlite. and doing it yourself. I have heard tell that dealers want about £100 for the Maintenance charge and top up, so you only need to do it four times and you have re-couped your investment.
When watering I also warm my Distilled water, just an added precaution.

Good luck

Wise advice there Grumps

I dont know anyone in your area Gooch who could help I'm afraid

So I'd say its main dealer option but do make sure the know what their doing  or give EVan a shout and grab an EVlite.

I wouldnt personally really use the van or only lightly.

Thanks for all the good advice.
As I have never kept a PSA vehicle long enough to encounter this issue this is all new to me,but spent some time on the phone (every psa dealer within a 50 mile radius) and found that to my disbelief no one could help me!!!

So I have purchased an EVlite from EVan reasoning that I am not the only person in london that has this issue .

Not having the multispace on the road has made me realise how good it is.I love the way it effortlessly glides around. The ICE really does seem so old tech now.

Have just started the maintanance charge with my new EVlite.
How level is "level ground" ?
My drive is only slightly off, is this a problem or should I pop a couple of bricks under the front wheels when topping up?
