I3 is a Hot hatch

The I3 can reach 60 in about 7 seconds which is pretty fast. A test drive report recently described a Leaf as taking off like a stabbed rat. What he would have made of an I3 I have no idea. I agree that the Leaf seems pretty fast in use. Perhaps the fact that it is achieved in silence without a flurry of gear changes adds to the impression.
