Having finally made the solid spacers and the stepped key (the motor is 1/4" and the couplings are 5/16") its all now in a car. Interestingly it seems to make the power take up much smoother. Probably wishful thinking. Once I get the images off my camera I will put some more on here.

Just spotted a post in this thread about the MES heater.
I have a spare 4KW version from the azure dynamics bankruptcy if its of any use to anyone?

If its from an Azure Dynamics Connect the voltage will be too high. Its marked on the side on a lable.
