I'm going to get some prices and check lead times.

If you use a 3D printer you can get a case in 30 minutes and cheap :-)

I am not good at design... here are enclosures designed by me and printed on my printers of the time:

3D printing looks fun and great for one-offs, but I am looking for quick assembly. So here's the plan.

The board sits inside the case. I am getting some prices to have new end panels laser cut from a sheet of clear perspex. One A4 size sheet gives me enough end panels for 20 cases. For extra protection from the elements a little bit of sealer around the joints and where the connectors poke through should make them nearly waterproof. :D

It's been a while, got sidetracked by life in general  but the boards arrived from China about a month ago. I've just ordered some bits to make up 10 slaves and see if they work. I am also going to see about getting some 1.6mm clear perspex laser cut for the end panels.

Here's one board with just the connectors soldered on so I can measure for the end panels. I don't suppose anyone has access to a laser cutter?

I've got 2 boards made up, bench tested and in their enclosures. I am going to fit them to my back battery box but will first have to redo the cell conection wiring. I made adapters that allowed me to connect the previous version in parallel with the old bms, but I didn't do a very good job on some of the connectors. So out with the old and in with some new wiring, when I get the time that is!

I wanted to try out upverter for pcb designs so I've done a layout for the master to slave interface which has been in my todo box for a while now.
