Electricars milk float. Q reg

Few pics of an Electricars float that I have just bought. I have managed to free the brakes off (a bit at least) brakes don't work but hopefully it will be easier to move. It takes 36 Chloride cells. They are square blue top 41cm tall, anyone know the model of the cell?
The wheels are the split type (without a well) what are these called? and the tyres are 7.00 x 16.
I can't find a data plate on it anywhere and am not sure where it would even be. Where would the chassis number be?
If anyone can shed light on whether this float which was registered in 1988 uses parts from an older float perhaps you could help ID whether the whole chassis is older or what bits, i think at least some of the electrics were new in 88 judging by the labels.
Anyone got circuit diagrams or anything for these?
