Super-Powred Milk Float? Suggestions Please!

Hi,
I'm a singer-songwriter from Norfolk and am planning a UK tour in 2015 and want to use a milk float as my tour bus / performance space. I'm really keen to use green energy which is partly why I came up with the idea, but having been in touch with some specialist companies and also talked to some dairies I'm wondering if normal milk-float batteries would be powerful enough? Also, it sounds like they wouldn't be very efficient in terms of low carbon impact as I'd still need to charge them up daily. I'd be travelling a maximum of 30 miles per day / 200 miles per week.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm working on a fairly limited budget of £5000 - £7000 maximum.
Many thanks,
Paul
