Now that's interesting:
I recognise this graphic! - it's the demo screen that comes with the 7inch iSmart TFT display module from Noritake Itron

I've been using these screens in a couple of projects in work - just send them serial commands and they
can show screens stored as images on a micro-SD card plugged into the back. Great for nice GUIs on prototypes
I wonder if they did this software for the Ampera's screen?

David Peilow's Ampera passes 3,000 miles in 2 months and is still averaging 112mpg... will be interesting to see what happens once he gets charging at work
