Golf buggy insurance

Do you own or use a EV. Then this is a good place to discuss things.

Golf buggy insurance

Postby timpootle » Wed Jun 15, 2011 7:42 pm

I have had enquiry from a member about who to insure his road-legal golf buggy with. It is a Tomberlin, so I have emailed http://www.epowertrucks.co.uk, the UK distributor, but I thought I should ask here too.

Adrian Flux has quoted him £400, which sound a bit steep. He is 75 years old. Can anyone make any recommendations? I suggested Footman James, as BVS members get a discount, so he is going to try them again. Last time they told him his registration number was wrong.

mmmm sounds like Fluxy got the complete wrong end of the stick, although being 75 will load the insurance quite a lot regardless of vehicle I think today :?

Must admit I'd go back to Flux again and try a different department
