Firstly, my apologises for the tangent to the original thread...
Basically, the commute is from Horwich to Trafford, Manchester.
Yes, a reverse trike would be perfect, albeit to fit three persons. The Zap trike is FAB, but too expensive at the predicted £40k.
Unfortunately the map link doesn't seem to workfor manchester or bolton!!
The mini trike is great, but HGVs wouldn't see you in the rain..
There is a vacuum of 10k-20k otr EVs suitable for the daily commute.
Hmmm...
My driveway is getting busy...
Re: My driveway is getting busy...
Yes, apologies for taking over MB's thread. I hope nobody minds.
With a Lithium celled car, you won't need to charge up in Mc'r. 35 miles round trip is no distance but if you want a three seat vehicle you will have to sort out some means to charge it up.
I've pm'ed you with my location.
£40k? wow! A Nissan Leaf is under £24k and that's a very nice car with 80+ miles range.
With the e-trike I don't subscribe to lorry drivers being blind if you create the right conditions around you but it has to be said, the designers of this trike don't consider it a suitable m'way vehicle with its super sharp atv steering and short wheelbase.

The Leaf is £26K now, they put the price up just as they become available.
