DVLA nightmare!

Do you own or use a EV. Then this is a good place to discuss things.

DVLA nightmare - some progress !!

Postby electricmini » Fri Jan 15, 2010 6:05 pm

I've just had a welcome letter come through the post:

It's the standard letter saying that due to the changes being made
to my vehicle, it needs to be inspected.

WOOHOO!! :D

Looks like the process is moving again, we'll see what the bods
at my local office say when they arrange the inspection
( I'd better get it running soon! )

When I did the Mini 4 years ago, they (local office) decided an inspection
wasn't needed, even though Swansea had sent me their standard
"your vehicle will need to be inspected" letter... I guess they couldn't be
arsed... I just turned up at the local office with MOT and insurance,
and they gave me my tax disc

We shall have to wait and see, but it's not as hopeless as it seemed
just before Christmas...
