Draft schematics for 12V and 300V circuits for my conversion

Do you own or use a EV. Then this is a good place to discuss things.

Indeed, thanks for the hint, according to their catalogue they seem to be OK for 250A but only at 150V.

Given my system will be 300V nominal and 150A max (after consulting with AZD I will set the circuit protection to 200A), is there anyway such a switch could handle that?

I asked Albright:

I am looking for a suitable emergency disconnect switch for an
electric vehicle application, to handle a nominal 300Vnominal/150A
maximum circuit.

Your ED252 model seems to be the highest rated I can find in your
online catalogue. Can you guide me to the appropriate model in your
range?

Unfortunately we do not manufacture an emergency disconnecting switch suitable for use on 300V DC.

Albright International Limited

Hmmm. Still looking, then.

A lower voltage rated "Emergency Switch" like the Albright is OK at higher voltages as long as you don't actually want to use it as an emergency switch under load.

But as a power off isolater to break the circuit when not under load it would be fine.
