Range varies a lot on the type of vehicle (both in terms of size/weight, the battery technology used and the country). It also depends on the driving style and terrain. Most current electric vehicles can do 60-120 miles

For example, as of June 2008 the production car available in the UK with the longest range is the Electricca at 70 miles (see range UK cars). While in the US a second hand RAV4-EV will do a staggering 120 miles.
