It looks nice, but:

When such technology will be available on the market?

Some time ago there was something about MIT research:

Another electric vehicle manufacturer have been working with another battery provider. They reckon that they too have hit the 10,000 cycle life on batteries, although they reckon 'only' 17½ years for battery life.

Mind you, the batteries aren't cheap...

Exactly, if theyr'e as insanely expensive as all the other Liths it doesn't matter how long they last. Lithiums, and electric vehicles generally, won't really achieve take-off until the price drops at the very least by 50%. Personally I don't see this happening due to a combination of recession and ripoff profiteering by the industry, but I'd totally love it to happen. I've started a thread on lith prices if anyone's interested...
