PIKTRONIK CONTROL SYSTEMS

Postby electricvehicles » Thu Aug 09, 2007 3:30 pm

Hi i'm off to sunny Slovenia next week to discuss about us being agents for Piktronik.
Really need to have some feedback from you lot as to what you really want from a battery charger or controller.

Please have a look at the link and let me know, need to go armed -- no not with a gun  but with what people like yourselves want.
I'm off the computer this weekend, in wet Basel !!!! hard life being an EV engineer  but will be able to read your feedback before I go on Tuesday.
Thanks
Dave

Mmmmm interesting

Personally I like the chargers with PC programing software, much prefer something thats programable with what I've already got than have to go and buy something thats specific to a certain charger, i.e I already have a laptop.

If you know what I mean.

The ability to control the constant voltage setpoint externaly (see; http://agnimotors.com/home/index.php?op ... &Itemid=39).

Essential for Lithium (if you're going to be using most of the capacity) and highly desirable for sealed lead acid.
