Can anyone tell me where I can get cheap Sealed Lead Acids Batteries from?

Many thanks

How about your local car breakers. A couple of starting batteries probably won't last long, but I bet it would get you through the summer, especially a British summer  and the price is bound to be right.

I used to get my batteries from the local recycling tip - but a few years ago they stopped selling them to the public. Perhaps try ebay? or contact a local alarm company - they may have some used ones available.

Try your local golf course, quite often golfers will off load their old trolly batteries once they wont do a full round, still plenty of "play" life left in them though.

Same goes for mobility scooter shops
