I bought a few of these a while back, and although I haven't put them through any heavy service yet the resting voltages after charging are all healthy. Maybe worth considering for a starter pack.

Nice on Malcolm, as you say for a starter pack even if just to test that the whole thing is working and usable that could be just the ticket.
