Following Tessla's comment on the 'City EL for sale thread'

Quote:
Well I have a Mk1 or if you are a member of the prius geehad a Mk2. I have info on installing cruse control and workarounds for some of the little quirks. I would be bang up for a prius section.

109,000 miles and I'm still getting 62MPG, not bad for a car that should get 57MPG /Brag

It would be interesting to see how many Classic Prius' there are out there

Lets have a Poll of Hybrids.

What you got, how far has it gone, what mileage do you get.

Wife and I own two UK spec tax exempt Honda Insight's

1) Mine 95,000 miles 93.7mpg lifetime consumption.
102.7mpg last tank

2) Hers 55,000 miles 88mpg lifetime consumption.
90.9mpg last tank 8)

Mine will be modded over summer with a 144v 40ah Li-fepo4 pack to push mpg to 150 and beyond

Hmmm............

I used to have an NHW20 (the 2005 Generation II Prius) but now have a ZVW30 (2010 Generation III). Unfortunately, there isn't an option to select the ZVW30 Prius in the register.

We have all moved on a bit I see. 8)

I have three MK1 Insights now, two converted to lithium power packs.
One 50 x 40ah Hipower prismatic cells one 50 x 20ah A123 pouch cells.

One of my cars has also done 240,000 miles which is not bad going.

MPG I'm not saying to avoid depressing everyone else.
