cheap solar backup power

Do you make your own power ? be it Solar or Wind. Then this is a place for all home energy chat.

ChrisB - can I ask where you bought the solar panel from? Was it a shop purchase or a private purchase?

Got it from a company having a clear out, it was the only one I'm afraid, if there where more I'd have them, has got some damage on the corner but its only a bit of the corner bracket thats bent.

I checked and couldnt see any panels of that wattage for that sort of money so snapped their hand off for it 8)
