I wasn't able to get on the site most of yesterday and again today had some problems, but I also decided to change my broadband provider at exactly the same time, so that may have something to do with it as well. Hopefully it is more stable in the future. Thanks for all the work keeping the site going. :D

Cheers Greg

I think most of yesterdays outage was down to waiting for the DNS to propergate around all the servers, rather than anything else.

For some it was back up within 5 or 6 hrs yet for me it was a further 24 before getting it back.

And it was all going so well. Falcoda shut us down at around 3pm yesterday due to a rogue PHP script generating 400 server processes in 1 minute. Up again at 10am this morning, but we haven't isolated which script was being bad. Keep your fingers crossed.

Many apologies for anyone who got a message saying they had a PM today only to find there wasnt one when they checked.

Early this morning we had a spammer who decided to try and sell their wares via PM, as soon as I spotted them I deleted them and thus all his PM's went too, of course this would have been after the system sent out an e-mail to you saying you had a PM.

Apologies for the issue, we may have to look at further tightening of the belts for new members if this starts happening regularly.

The website disappeared this afternoon, for the same reason as October 29 2009. Back again now, with a bit more of a clue as to what the rogue script is.

This post is to announce that in the next day or so, we will be upgrading the forum software to version 3.0.6

This will mean that your view may change slightly, and we will be offline for around half an hour while the changeover takes place.

It may force you to log in again, but I don't think so.

3 weeks later, we are ready to go. Changeover will be late tonight, all being well.

Job done. Welcome to the new forum software.

If anything is not working, please tell me or Chris and we will sort it out (hopefully).
