Short down time experienced this morning was due to a Spam attack on the servers.

We where down for about 15mins early this morning, sorry for any issues folks had during that time.

More problems on Sunday night. Sorry all.

We are actively looking at a server move very soon to try and get away from this flaky service.

Watch this space.

Tim

I did notice it was off line again twice over last few days :(

I tend to log on at very weird times especially very early 05:00 etc

Yep I have to say I dont think I've ever met a ISP like VISPA for such terrible service

The sooner the move the better 8)

I hope your going to invoice your time Tim to the for all the faffing about you did over the weekend in a vain attempt to get us running again

Thanks for trying, still concerns me that when it all goes poof like this we still have nothing that members can check up on to see whats going on like a spare site

No, it's not just you Chris.

Re charging for time  I thought everyone was a volunteer. Did something change?

I think Chris was suggesting I charge VISPA for doing their work for them.

I am still attempting to move the whole shebang to the freehost we use for development, but that in itself is causing me some problems.

Yes, the serviced this week has been extremely flaky. We will be on the move soon, I promise.

Errr don't think you can actually do their work for them as you won't have access to the servers and data centre. However you could ask for a refund on some of the money due to their poor service by way of compensation. Good luck on that though as I expect they have it covered somewhere in a clause.

Frankly though I'd just get a decent provider instead.

Not too difficult to see there's a spammer about today. Dozens of spam posts about pharmacies this morning
