Can only continue apologizing for the current slowness on here, beleive me its making my life just as much of a nightmere when carrying out any work/editing as I never know if the dam things done it or not

Hopefully it will be sorted fairly soon.

Back with you after 4 long days at work.

I have been forwarding your complaints to our host, Vispa, who have been monitoring things their end.

Although we have been unable to pin down the precise cause or reason for these problems, they re-booted the server at 10.30 this morning, so I would like to hear from anyone who is still having problems with this site AFTER THAT TIME.

They have also said that the server we are on will be getting a memory upgrade in the near future, so things should be even better after that. I will keep you informed.

Thanks Tim

So far its looking good, only just logged and so far it seems fine, but then it can be fine for a while and then just stop for no reason :?

Lets hope the re-boot has fixed it.

Thanks for keep on top of it Tim

I wonder who else we're shareing the server with ?? :? that could be half the issue if we're having to share with another site and the servers low on memory and hence requests take so long, but then I'd think Vispa would realise this pretty quickly and would have said ?

Yep it appears that the server has kicked harder now and the report back is that its much happier now 8) although I'm still getting the odd report that the main site may have a malware issue :? but not from my end which is weird ?

Well at least the forums going at light speed again 8)

The future has arrived! This forum will be offline tomorrow morning at 11am for up to an hour, while the server gets its extra memory.

Well, after the site having a small bit of downtime over lunch, everything seems to be back online now :)

It seems to be working at light-speed for me now! :D
