Hi everyone,
I've just noticed that Google Maps is finally allowing you to see data for terrain - great if you're planning a road trip and want to check the route for hilly stretches!
Sadly, Bristol is quite hilly... (I knew that already)... http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&ll=51 ... 6&t=p&z=13
Zoom into the high detail (high scale) and you'll see the contour lines appear.
Nikki.

Yup.
Of course, I think this data was already available in Google Earth, but I do most of my online life in a browser window on a computer. Silly really isn't it? We buy hugely expensive computers (looks down at her studio-spec Mac Pro and recording equipment) and we now do most of our stuff online...
