Does anyone know the stall torque @72V-400A for a d&d #15A-6 6 1/2" series wound motor? Please don't suggest contacting the manufacturer.

Many thanks - but this site appears to be geared toward AC motors.

6.5" D&D stall torque

In theory this should be calculable, Tom.
Torque = hp x 33000, divided by 2Pi x rpm. Hp = watts divided by 746, and of course watts is volts x amps.

Working this sum out for 1rpm I get 5371 lb-ft torque, but you have to allow for a huge drop in motor efficiency at stall. It could well be only one quarter of that figure. People who know more about individual motors may be able to give you a guide there, I'm just quoting formulae to help get started.

Good luck.
