G-Wiz Owners Club get together in London - Friday 7th March

Postby MB » Fri Feb 08, 2008 12:49 am

The date for the next G-Wiz Owners Club get together is Friday 7th March 2008 at Weavers Restaurant, Kelsey Street, London E2 6HD.

Members of the Battery Vehicle Society are welcome to attend.

The event will be the first chance to see the new G-Wiz i electric car, which will available to view on the night. The G-Wiz i is the latest version of the G-Wiz, with a top speed of 50mph, a range of up to 48 miles and an improved specification throughout, including improved braking and Lotus-designed crash protection.

Details of the venue can be found here: http://www.wrtrust.org.uk/

A map can be found here: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tab=wland

The cost for the meal is around £18 per person and a full menu will be posted up in the near future for us to choose from.

Electric charging points will be provided for 3-4 cars; in addition there are charging points nearby at Whites Row City of London car park and at the Minories City of London car park.

We need to know numbers in advance. If you wish to attend, please e-mail me at mike@boxwell.org.uk, or send me a Private Message via the forums messaging facility.

If you have any other questions, please post it below.

Paul Mancrief has been instrumental in setting this up, so many thanks to him for his efforts and trouble.

I look forward to seeing everyone on the night!

Good luck Mike!

I'm sadly not going to be there as I've got family visiting from the States who arrive on Friday.

Let's see some photos though :)
