Okay... *drags subject back on topic*

We're looking at the FIRST two weekends in July. That's what I've been asked to shoot for by various groups so I hope Brighton and Hove City Council will give us either the 5/6 or 12/13 July.

Well done Nikki.

Cant see a problem with that currently, so that will be me plus my 6.5Kva Vegie oil burning generator in the back of my Blingo.

That's great news.

One question I'm already being asked is: "Will there be charging points for the return journey?"

Hi Mike,

I'm going to look at the Charging points in Brighton in a few weeks time. Apparently they have some 13 A sockets on Mederia drive.

Other than that I hope we'll have some support for the return journey. Someone has offered us the use of a huge lorry too - which could help return vehicles if absolutely needed.

I'd like to come along too and bring the E-Aprilia motorbike, I think I may be able to encourage a couple of electric KMX riders to make the attempt too:)
Most important of all, I live 10 mins away from Brighton, and can offer multiple charging points with space for several cars (with appropriate extension cables), and possible even a 3 phase plug (would need to ask a neighbor for this, let me know if anyone would need one..)

I'd also be willing to scour Brighton seafront for any business that would offer recharging facilities for the weekend if there are a shortage of sockets.

Back on subject...

We now have the pack and entry form. You all have about a month to get them back to me, or John Crayton :)

The link to download the pack is here

If that doesn't work, direct your browser at http://www.batteryvehiclesociety.org.uk ... 08pack.pdf

The file is in PDF format. You can find an appropriate PDF reader if you don't have one at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Cheers,

Nikki.

Out of interest, who has actually downloaded a form and is sending it in?

I've got two entries so far. Any one else got one they're going to pass my (or John Crayton's) way?
