Postby ChrisB » Fri May 06, 2011 9:57 am

EDIT: Have adjusted the thread title to show this years NEW date for the show

Our Southern area rep Terry H has secured us a place at the Amberley Museum & Heritage Centre Electric Vehicle Day Sunday June 17th 2012
http://www.amberleymuseum.co.uk

Its a really good day out and the museum is very interesting, I believe we have had the odd meeting in the past here too.

If you would like to attend and bring a vehicle be it a bike,C5, Car oor Van etc please let myself or TerryH know and we will book you in.

I am led to beleive 13A charging will be available not sure on anything bigger at this stage, as I get more info I will add it.

Hi Steve, I'm planning on being there too. Have spoken to Terry and contacted the museum (although not heard back from them yet, better chase)

Don't you love it when your project's "80% finished" ? It's so satisfying to know there's only 80% left to do...

There is a current build up of entry forms at the museum I've heard.

Hopefully they should be sorting it out soon

Looking like a good turn out 8)

10am Tuesday 5th July '11
Still no word here from the Amberley show organisers
I sent in my entry the day I heard, some weeks back
I sent it by post only, as firmly requested
I need to know by Thursday 7th, and very preferably sooner

Of course, they may well NOT want a base-line so low for the standards of appearance
(of the machine either..... )

I'll call Terry, see what he thinks
All the best
Ed

If you sent off the form I cant see why you shouldnt get in Ed

I know entries are piling up at the museum and until they sift through them we wont hear.

Please e-mail jimandhelen AT talktalk.net to say your coming with any charge requirements if you want to make doubley sure your in  (replace the 'AT' with the @ sign.

Must admit its a bit confusing asking us to send the form back by post and then no one appears to deal with them :? but I'm sure it will all be OK on the day 8)

Looks like Amberly has woken up as I've got my invite back now, so hopefully others who sent their applications in have also got theirs back now 8)

Not long to go now and we've still got some space left I'm led to beleive so do use the e-mail address given on the above post to Jimandhelen if you'd like to attend.
