A reminder that we are holding our monthly informal social gathering, from 8pm - 10pm in a local pub.

We will be at The Slug and Lettuce pub/restaurant (31-33 Stamford New Road, Altrincham, WA14 1EB) a 2 minute walk from Altrincham tram/train/bus station.

Everyone welcome.

Come along and tell us how your current project is going, or hear about other people's. Or if you have just bought an electric car/bike/van, would you recommend it to others, or not?

An informal natter over a few drinks

Members and non-members welcome.

For more info contact Tim Crumpton phone/text: 07749 107 521

See you there!

I'm thinking of coming along to the 16th October meet. Is it at the same venue?

I thought I would share with you what I have been doing with my MR2 EV project. Most of it is written up here on the DIY Electric Car forum.

Thanks for taking the reins, Howard. And sorry to miss you, Alfred. I hope to hear about progress on your MR2 soon. My offer of help still stands.

Thanks Tim. I'm just ticking along with it for a while while I get on with a new term at college.

It is a slow and costly process to get the build I want so I am sure there will be ample opportunity for cries of help. :D

It was good to meet you, Howard, and I really enjoyed the conversation.

[Grumpy old man voice]Pity about the noise levels at the pub, if they would turn the music down a bit then people wouldn't need to shout so loud.

And You Alfred

I suppose what do you expect from rocking Altrincham on a Friday Night!

When I turned up there were a couple of penquins at the door. I wondered how the h"£$% am I going to get passed them clad in m/cycle boots, jacket, lid, jeans and hoodie. Luckily they were just punters. Phew! - although it did set the scene for the evening.

:D

I would like to be there but sadly I have other commitments on Mondays and Wednesdays.

However, January should be ok! :D
