Link to last years event;

viewtopic.php?f=18&t=3179

Looking through the AER website it says that from now on only vehicles capable of 50mph or more are allowed to participate.

Having excluded a huge chunk of the previous entrants, anyone know if there are any alternative events planned at this years show to allow us lesser mortals to attend and enjoy the day ?

I wonder if they're going to do the handling course like they did last year?

This technically means Twizys are allowed to take part too -- because our top speed is 52. That said, I will probably take the Leaf instead! :D

Kevin, could you put me in touch with the organizers too, please?

Nikki.

If you have any success with the organisers please let me know Nikki. A string of emails have brought no response.

I'm hoping they will provide a handling track and perhaps a one eigth mile strip for slower vehicles. We were aiming for this last year but the flooded camping area meant the concrete and asphalt area was used for camping.

It would be great to get some manufacturers there to offer test drives as well.

I've had no response to my enquiries with the AER events team so have gone ahead with an alternative event.

Sadly this means "c5alive" will not be going to the 2013 AER, which is a real shame.

NO luck for me either.

Can't we find a disused air strip somewhere? It's a shame :(

It was great! I am glad to hear there WILL be a 2013 event.

I guess you were hoping for more constructive feedback. John? Nikki? Kevin? Karl?
