I realise the mag is produced by volunteers, I also realise we there fore have no grounds for complaint. I did however pay £20 to join in June last year and received nothing for it. I didnt get a current mag, I didnt get the back issues promised and as far as I know the Dec issue is not out yet! ...

Found a nice supply of lightweight front suspension units from a quad supplier. New hubs/bearings/uprights/discs/calipers/pads and hoses, only £250. Let me know if you need any for your project. Stuart

Just read the news item on the Austrlian Trev. 150km range, 120kph and only 40kg of cells. Is that realistic?

Thankyou for your help chaps. I have now sourced a suitable motor but at 3000rpm design speed I would need a ratio reduction of 3-1. Having looked further into the Lithium option I consider them too expensive if the kit is going to sell. I would prefer to find a multi pole motor of 96v at 800rpm of around 6kw.
