Daughter and boyfriend just towed car back, 3 miles, against my advice, ffs. apparently all was fine going down quite steep hill, for Lincolnshire, regenerating nicely, dabbed brakes to slow for junction then when accelerator pedal applied, limited jerking forward movement, eco guage into forbidden ...

knocking drive shaft?

After the annual under carriage clean, I was surprised to discover an intermittent clonky, knocking noise at low speed. Local garage had it on ramps and checked it all over but no definite diagnosis. Anyone had similar?
Range back up to 50 miles, btw. Thanks to hyends spares and this forum's advice...

Well all is well since hyend turned up with a fresh battery.
Simply put it all back together and built up the distances and charges.
Now better than ever. Thank you all fir yr support

Gently increasing mileage every day, topping up at 55 and finally at 35% after 35 miles. I'm happy with that any more in future is a bonus.

Part of me can't wait to do it all again

She lives again. So far so good.
Routing of cables and pipes make much more sense when connected right way round :-)

Doh!
I've only gone and joined up the battery packs wrong way round. Hope I haven't damaged any thing.....

Voltage @ controller is 32
All battery packs are reading what I'd expect.
Treble checked reassembly.
I'm going to remove aux battery and charge that some more, it was at 12.4, and do some gardening instead :-)
