There's a two-part article in Everyday and Practical Electronics magazine for a build-it-yourself energy meter (last month's edition and this month's). With a bit of modification and an optoisolator, this could be made into an energy meter with a PC connection for data logging. Has anyone built one?

So, the white one is the non-runner? I wonder what's up with it? I'd better put together a list of things to change for the UK spec. conversion. And that'll mean finding the part number for that Hella headlight. I can also print out another copy of the speedo MPH scale.

I hope to be there in the Mini-El! If the light's good, maybe we could shoot some video, too? I think it'd be good if people can hear the cars as well as see them -- well, hear how quiet they are, anyway!
