Re: Get your heater working.

I'm on the case ta! Oh for such a product thirty years ago when I was running lorries on the collieries. During the winter, every bloody day was a constant battle with condensation in the filters. Probably shouldn't have been so mean & bought my fuel from the local garage instead of bribing the ...

Re: Get your heater working.

Hello Chris.
Where do you get "dry fuel" from? I have a Morgan Three Wheeler that stands for long times in winter & always suffers with water in the fuel for a few weeks in spring. Sounds as though this might kill several birds with one stone.

Re: Get your heater working.

Thanks Grumpy. Although to be fair, after last years cold & attendant heater failures, I have regularly run my heater throughout the summer on a weekly basis, for half an hour on the early morning dog walk trip. (Don't ask!) I repeat the tip I imparted last year after several cold trips. I opine...

Re: Charging and amount of power used

Nissan surely don't make the cells themselves. One wonders if there are any tame Nissan technicians out there who would divulge the makers name/address etc. I agree the cost of the Leaf is far less than any quote I have seen for a set of batteries. Therefore, it figures that they have got to be much...

Re: Sudden drop in range !!!!

This is all so interesting & is the antithesis of what this club is all about. I had the sh**s about a light on during last winter & was dreading it being something like this. It was just the cold in the end & I'm now back to 55 mile average again. I am printing this current article off ...

G-Whiz

I see nobody is interested in the G-Whiz on E-Bay at £1,200. Does anybody know how much a set of new batteries would cost for these cars? Also, does anybody know what the realistic range for a G-Whiz is?

Re: What should I do with a weak Berlingo?

I think I'm right in remembering a chap taking his Blingo all the way up to Evan. As I understand it, he booked in at a series of caravan parks with electric hook up & once charged, carried on. Not the ideal, but what a guy? When I was buying mine, I met a chap up in the Manchester area called C...

Blingo range

Hello boys & girls. I too had a panic attack during the very cold spell around Xmas. My charge light came on one evening at about 45% & 28 miles showing. I managed to get home alright but was slowed down automatically at 20% which happened in about four miles. I contacted Evan who held my ha...

Re: Nissan Leaf

Sorry guys,
what I meant to say was "how much it REALLY is." Are there any catches or conditions attached to the alleged £5,000 grant?

Re: Nissan Leaf

Is there any truth in the rumour that one can receive a grant from HM Gov if you buy a "new" electric vehicle. If so, does anyone know how much it is? Before I retired, my daily run to work was around forty miles. So even without nicking employers electricity, which I would have done for s...
