Recommendations for a 'dry' lead acid battery for EV use

I'm currently running evaluations on a number of lead acid batteries for an EV project. Re: My driveway is getting busy...

Thanks for the feedback. I don't mention how much the car costs because the price is likely to change considerably over the next couple of years. Payback is also likely to fluctuate considerably based on the cost of fuel.

Re: Possible help with dissertation questionnaire please?

That's a fair comment, actually. There is a big assumption that vehicles of the future are going to be very similar to cars of today, except they'll be powered by electricity. My own research suggests that this may not actually be the case: electric cars may be part of the future, but actually, the ...

Re: New charge point at Bury St Edmunds. Success or disaster

I've had trouble with the Elektromotive points tripping out in Coventry - and they've only been in use for a couple of months. In fact, I suspect I was the first person to use these particular points. I had problems with another make of charging point in Leamington Spa which was down to the thicknes...

My driveway is getting busy...

This is a photograph of my driveway earlier this week: 020.jpg Yup, a trio of electric cars: a Mitsubishi i MiEV, a Tata Indica and a G-Wiz. The Mitsubishi was on a week loan. It's a press vehicle and I had it in order to update my range tests for my Mitsubishi i MiEV book. The 2011 model is a big i...
