I must admit I thought they where about to relax the rules governing small home wind gennys :? and planning permission wasnt going to be required ??

Hi John Nope still looking for some replacements , thanks for sharing that info , I'll give them a look up but to be honest 40ah is rather short on ah's for my liking, even if I was to double them up I would still only be looking at 80ah , still a fair number of Ah's short of the 100Ah that the vans...

The BVS mag seems to get about 2 or 3 a year appear in it , there was a member in dorset who was selling there one Alan and Honer Ward, I'm not sure if they still have it though , it was also part running on Li-ion cells from what I remember ???

Another source might be E-bay .

I see they use a hub motor , I've riden a a different type of bike which had a hub motor and was impressed with the speed and torque it had , mind you that one was a 500w motor so double the legal limit.

I would say try and get a test drive ( ride ) with one before making your mind up .
