Yes, my truck sounds like a jet engine too, when accelerating hard, and more like a tube train when cruising. I think it would make a good recording, but I live in Northumberland.

I overtook a Ferrari in my milk float the other day. I was doing 35 mph in a 30 mph zone, but it was good fun.

If you really believe in ev's and their promotion then I think that you should be faithful to the BVS, since at the moment it is all we have got. Remember that it is a purely voluntary organisation and any member can work to improve it or voice their opinion on how to improve it or in what direction...

It looks like you have used the same motor as I have used in my trike Evan, but mine is a shaft drive. It could be interestng to compare performance at some point in the future.

I think you will find that milk floats are the largest production run ev's for usability in their intended environment.

The weight limit for exempt commercial electrics is not 1250 kgs. Berlingos are exempt and weigh about 1500 kgs and milk floats are about 2000 kgs unlaiden.
