I'm actually rather annoyed that the BBC of late seem to have become rather spin-oriented in the way they broadcast. I used to work for them for a while back in the 90s and I'm absolutely shocked how polarised some of the reports have gotten. My hunch is the BBC have been encouraged to tow the part...

Bath and West Show Sustainability Arena

I've just got back from a really enjoyable time at the show outside Shepton Mallet. I was lucky enough to get to ride an electric motocross bike round the main show arena in the Sustainable Transport parade where Jon Lilly was awarded 3rd prize for his Elcat (don't ask how it was judged we are all s...

Anything in the house that can run on batteries does and they're recharged from a solar panel that also powers my garage. Most of my posts here are from a laptop that I also charge from the same PV setup. ] Superb! I've been thinking quite some time now that most items in a house could run of much ...

All I know is that there was a UK importer between about 1991 and 1999 in the southwest going by the name CityCom UK. It's sadly (or maybe not if this is the same people) not in business any more so us CityEl owners are forced to go to Germany or Denmark for spares. Still, look on the bright side: ...

I think the only way really is to get them to try for a short period. I soon found running a very small engined quadricycle actually makes a lot of sense and now I'd even consider ony renting a car for long journeys. It's rediculous how many cars are running a few miles up and down the roads with on...

Re: Berlingo Brake light modification

So my idea to start with is to fit a micro switch or similar to the very top end of the throttle pedal so when I completely lift off then the brake lights come on , later I think Ill add a delay to the lights so they come on after a few seconds so they are not for ever going on and off with throttl...

But one thing "I" cant overlook, is the fact theres still no sign of these engines as such, yet apparently the ideas been around for years :? So with this thinking ( rightly or wrongly ) I have to think its not a workable machine or if it is its not profitable to use, which actually could...
