Doubt it, and I doubt that would cause an effect like this anyway. Still, no harm in checking.

Charger stopping early: check the coolant in the left side of the radiator, that it is topped up and flows when the ignition or charger is running.

Odd problems with the energy meter usually go away when the vehicle is used regularly, at least occasionally below 50%, and recharged fully every time.

The dealers always seemed to put it in neat, yes. I don't know how they were supplied originally.

Don't put neat antifreeze in the system. It embrittles the battery hoses and eventually starts leaks.

You want something like 1:4 or 5 dilution, use a hydrometer to check it has an adequate amount in.

since we are on the subject of watering, what do you use for water? i have heard some use the same water you can use for topping up old fashioned car batterys... some just use deionzed water.... These two are the same. This is what the dealers use, as well. I have had no sign of problems using it (...

Update. Checked the battery first, mostly because it was something that I knew I could do. Seemed to hold charge well.
