Berlingo Keys

Having only one key for my Blingo, I went to gat a replacement and was told it was chipped. They even read it and deciphered the code. I want convinced, so the chap removed the chip from the key, and hey presto the Van works OK. So I had a no chipped key for £11 instead of the pointless chipped o...

Jut had a look after a strenuous climb back home, and the suspect cell was down to 4.7V others all at 6.3V so I think that one is definitely breaking down under load. Its great to know which cell it is before I take the pack out. So im well happy at putting the cables into each cell join in the the ...

My Power meter does not seem to want to get much above 60% but the evlite says 100 % even after a maint charge and a few subsequent re-charges. I seem to run out of usable power after about 25 miles, not to the amber light stage but loaded batt voltage is down to 150. At rest and a few minutes after...

A few years ago I used too have a Range Rover with a Isuzu diesel engine. The best economy mod I ever did was to fit a full set of anti roll bars. In stead of constantly having to come off the gas for corners to allow it to wallow precariously, one could take corners with ease and not back off. Not ...

owing to the lack of space on the cases to actually insert a socket, I have just wired the junctions to a small box on a flying lead, each box fixed so I can get to it. Terminated inside with a choc bloc. I can simply measure the voltages. Not complex but works fine. Its good to know that after a go...

Berlingo alloys

Having one slightly bent wheel on my Berlingo, I was keen to put some alloys on. I now have a set of Peugeot 205 1.6gti alloys. They are 5.5 x14 so an exact size match, and the off set is the same as the steels. The 205 wheel bolts also fit. A result! I tried weighing them and my bathroom scales are...

At last I can do more than 4 miles . My 02/01 set have now been fed and watered and have done 20 miles and still sit at about 170v at rest. Just starting to dip below 160 when driving. So all is looking good for some use of the Blingo other than pushing it home/ taking the fuse out every few hundred...

Mine works fine if you plug in the berlingo / Avcon and then turn on at the mains when you need to.

No bad results yet!!

Sounds like the same problem I have. In the end I have sorted another set of later batteries. I cant do much mileage and with newer Cells I have narrowed it down to one duff cell. When Charged they appear to need to be well over 6.5 V to work properly, and give some decent range. With your batteries...
