All well so far Nikki but it will be a couple of weeks before we know exactly what we are doing! John has sorted out a slower charger for when our wind turbine is generating at lower wind speeds. We will then send you more details for the member's cars site. No wind today or yesterday (quite rare he...

Elcat Citivan 202

As the Elcat is not mentioned in the specific vehicle section we thought this would be the best place to post. At long last we have taken the plunge and purchased an Elcat Citivan 202 from John Lilly :D Only had it a couple of days but took it for it's first short run yesterday around our very steep...

Hi ChrisB, We get just over 4p per kWh for every kWh that we generate whether we use it on site or export it. On top of that we are paid just over 3p per kWh for every kWh we export. Well that's what the contract tells us but we haven't been paid anything yet :!: It has been a lot of hassle ( and th...

Hi Rob, We have a grid connected 6kW Proven wind turbine (see details elsewhere in this forum) and are with GOOD ENERGY. Good Energy only supply 100% renewable energy sourced from the sun, wind and water. They are a little more expensive per kWh (11.76p) and there is also a fixed charge of 12.87p/da...

Managed to get there yesterday in our JBA Falcon Kit Car. Drove all the way and back with the top off, bit chilly but remained dry. We had a great day there. Had a good look at Project Qdos EV and hope that by next year it will be there again but in working order. You were fairly busy but we did hav...

Hi Andy, I see you are looking for an EV for your wife with very similar specifications to what we are also looking for. We need a 4 seater as we will be looking after 2 small grandchildren on a regular basis from the middle of next year. We have been waiting (for over a year) for the many times del...

Thanks Nikki, we were also a little dubious about certain parts of the brochure and would very much like to see one of these vehicles or hear firsthand from someone who has seen one.

Stevens Vehicles Zecar and Zevan

Saw this link http://www.evuk.co.uk/news/index6.html#GVT_EVs_are_Go
on Electricars site.
Has anyone else looked at the details?
Still a bit pricey for a basic looking car but it will seat 5 and seems to tick a lot of boxes for us. Also it's made in the UK :!:
