Southern : Sat 27th Sept 2008 : Bas Community Green Fare

Don't forget the Basingstoke Community Green Fare.

Why not come along and help out.
It looks like it could be a good 'do'.

Blimey that was quick. Well done anyway. Just to clarify I don't think it was a temperature sensor as my working one did not even operate up to 50 degC. It is more likely to be a current limitor for the fan motor start-up to probably minimise blowing the fuse or limiting the current through the swit...

Thanks Tim for picking up my lead.

Actually my maths is flawed. I actually did nearly 200 miles in 1.5 days. Must write it up for qdos for the mag. Do I get a price for the furthest EV driven for the event ? ;-)

Apart from the pay meter running out of leccy at JPs place (Croydon) and having to blag a charge from next door, my 150 round trip Sat-pm to Mon-am was very successful. However, I am now minus a relatively expensive bright yellow/orange extension lead (about 30 m) left at Handcross. If anyone picked...

Nick,

I am very interested in getting a deioniser as Francois and I could use it and it will save all that plastic in the 5L containers as well.

Could you post some details of the unit you have or what you would recommend.

I assume that you talking about the http://www.ev-network.org.uk database. It really does not matter too much, as you specify what you have anyway. Then it is upto other people to make sure they have the correct adapter. A 16 A socket would be ideal with an adapter for 13A sockets. Then you say that...

Hi Tim, Sorry I only sent the google request to Mary can you let me know your email address and I will invite you. To answer one of the questions, the leaflet is aimed as a BVS publication (hence the collaborative approach) that can be sent to councils and businesses to encourage installing charging...

The error in the maths was simply the double should have been quadruple (as implied in other areas of the calculation). Tim, I have sent you a google invite to the google docs where the current working version is. I prefer that we develop a co-ordinated approach, hence the shared google docs. If any...
