Re: Energy supply drought

..............and the sheer waste................. Grumpy-b +1 to all you said! Corporate waste really does get up my craw. I'd even be knocking street lights off at night if I had my way. Quite a few councils are and have been doing this for many years  today some are even able to remotely d...

Re: chinese import who knows

Cant go far wrong with a PING battery back, I've converted two electric bikes to run on ping battery packs and the improvement in range and power (not speed as thats limited) is amazing, both are running 20ah packs and they just go on and on and on. The ping packs are quite nice as they are plug and...

Re: Southern : Monthly group meet : 2nd THURSDAY in the Mont

I do think we should find another venue that will allow charging. Not sure if this is something I should persue or get Terry to do - but I know the current venue is very convenient for Terry. Chris - do you still get to drive the nice red C1 EV'ie? Dont see why you shouldnt persue a new venue, why ...

Re: Southern : Monthly group meet : 2nd THURSDAY in the Mont

Ideally it needs, I would say, to be above Portsmouth somewhere near the A27, that way it encompasses a fair few folks, although I'm not sure how many attend as I wouldnt give the landlord my presence after he made it quite obviouse he wouldnt allow anyone to charge, so have not been along for somet...

Re: Drive Electric day - Winchester

I have to say I enjoyed yesterdays drive electric day. Another day of lovely weather. Nice that the council turned up in their mitsubishi iMieiv car. They were complaining of range anxiety as they were not sure how far they could drive in the car - so we dug out the handbook for them and showed the...

Re: Gunwarf charging points

Personally, I just wish they had made the leap straight to PAYG which IMO is what most EV drivers want. The West Sussex is currently looking at the first (well I think its the first in the Country) PAYG system, all being well I think they may be rolling it out in the not to distant future 8) ChrisB

Re: PRND selector fault - Only goes forward

Nice one, so I presume water must have been getting into that connector and tracking accross or was it a earthing issue due you think and it was getting this stray voltage via something else ?

Re: Berlingo won't charge - sagem fault?

I too rely on Evan to fix various controller faults. Without wanting to denigrate Evan's skill and knowledge in any way, it saddens me that he is the only person in the whole of the UK that we can turn to to fix these regular faults. I'm sure he gets sick of doing them from time to time as well. Is...

Re: Berlingo battery temp sensor / thermister

Chris - did you get your battery issues resolved as well?? or is it still useable in it's current condition? Still running mine in a slightly sick condition, although I've got 4 spare cells on test now ready to replace the hopefully sick one in the rear, time REALLY isnt on my side after such a pan...

Re: Berlingo battery temp sensor / thermister

Yep all seem to be back to normal after robbing my spare thermistor from the spare van. Interstingly the fault that it shows is it puts the yellow low voltage light on in the eco meter, it stops it charging, and while everything seems to work fine i.e contactor comes in etc etc it just wont drive an...
