Hi I just spent last weekend in Stavanger on the ferry from North Shields. I would have been able to bring my electric truck Electrocute over for the ev conference next year, but unfortunately the service is to be discontinued in August. What a pitty. I did manage to spot a Th!nk while I was there. ...

I imported a 9" Warp Netgain motor supplied by Cloud Electric. It was no hassle exept that by the time import duty, vat and shipping was paid, the cost was half as much again. If you buy privately on ebay it is a good idea to get the vender to undervalue the item on the custom form to reduce im...

I just saw an episode of Top Gear with the Ferrari Enzo, named after the founder of the company. Clarkson stated that if Lotus did the same thing their new model would be a Lotus Colin. If you consider though that Lotus models always begin with an 'E' then I think they should introduce an electric v...

I don't know how well this would work, but you could try using an old style car dynamo as an electric motor, as unlike the starter motor, it is designed to run all the time. It is worth watching out on ebay regularly for the stuff you need as things crop up all the time. I bought a brand new Advance...

They do have a tube vent on top which would have to be routed up and not leak. I prefer to keep them upright. The 10 batteries were 200 amphr and the 20 replacements are 100 amphr. I have the 100 amhrs doubled up in parallel to make 200 amphrs. With these, if you go for a bigger heavier car, or a pi...

As qdos says, the general public have loads of money and love spending it on big expensive cars that drink gallons of expensive fuel. They must, otherwise they would use smaller economical cars which transport them from A to B just the same. This is not the case with commercial vehicles, where the b...

Copper mining used to be the biggest industry in Cyprus, but all the copper mines closed down because there was more money in tourism. The is still plenty copper in the ground.

ebay item 220246784432
I have four of these ready to fit on my trike.
You can get them for less money than this if you haggle.
The ones on my truck are Sunenshine but very similar for £11.00 each.

I fitted a set of 10 of these in my truck and they did not last a year. They were a complete waste of money as far as ev use is concerned.
I replaced them with 20 lead gel transmitter back up batteries for a fraction of the cost and these are still as good as new after 4 years use.
